Prayer is an important and special part of our day in Year One. We have a prayer circle each morning and pray at other times during the day. We remember how we can be like Jesus in our lives and use kind and gentle words and loving actions towards others. We thank God for all that we have. We sing songs, learn formal prayers and make up our own personal ones. We have a prayer journal and would like to share some of our wonderful prayers with you. The children will also have a Weekly Theme focus for class discussion and prayer.

We pray “The Angelus” each day at 12pm.
